Directors of Special Effects have incorporated SNOWFOAM (AIRFOAM™) to make artificial rocks, caves and snow-clad scenes. Some major movies of note are:
- The Bounty (1984)
- Enid Blyton Adventure Series
- Vertical Limit
- Lord of the Rings
One use that is employed successfully overseas is, with a product similar to AIRFOAM™, being spread over landfills to deter birds and vermin. This process also extends the life of the landfill many years by eliminating the use of imported clay and soil as cover.
AIRFOAM™ should not be used for any other building installation practice. Many calls have been taken enquiring for use in caravan walls, boat flotation and insulation, tank insulation etc but the product is not applicable to any of these. Any structures, with impermeable claddings or linings, are not suitable for the AIRFOAM™ process. Regular use for this product is creating artificial snow for movies and advertisements. AIRFOAM™ has been used in many advertising productions for many major corporations, in the domestic and international markets.
